Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Dragonforce - Operation Ground And Pound. A fine choice. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a swing at Fulton's ribcage but misses.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fulton pinned against the cage. Fulton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice sprawl there from Jones as Fulton shoots in.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fulton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
Jones wants to sweep here but Fulton controlling him for the moment.

Fulton should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fulton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fulton but Fulton pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fulton has the hooks in. Jones is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Fulton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Fulton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
