Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adolf Oliver Nippels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grimpen Shatterstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Grimpen Shatterstone was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Grimpen Shatterstone!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver Nippels misses with a straight right.
Oliver Nippels misses the shot to the body.
Oliver Nippels shoots for a double leg takedown but Shatterstone sprawls well. He's pushed Oliver Nippels's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oliver Nippels changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shatterstone tries to avoid it but Oliver Nippels manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shatterstone to the ground. Shatterstone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shatterstone! But no joy.
Oliver Nippels shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shatterstone sprawls well. Shatterstone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oliver Nippels gets slowly back to his feet.
A little jabbing left from Shatterstone on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adolf Oliver Nippels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shatterstone cracks Oliver Nippels with a right hand to the side of the head.

Oliver Nippels shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shatterstone but Shatterstone pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shatterstone can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shatterstone is on top in guard.

Shatterstone wants to pass to mount but Oliver Nippels is defending the position.

Oliver Nippels looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Oliver Nippels might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Oliver Nippels is refusing to be controlled, as Shatterstone sits in half guard.
Shatterstone is trying to work for a kimura but Oliver Nippels is defending well.
Shatterstone is trying to control. Oliver Nippels wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Shatterstone is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Oliver Nippels!
Oliver Nippels tries to hold on but Shatterstone pushes him away.
Shatterstone controlling the pace for now.

Oliver Nippels is trying to reverse the position but instead Shatterstone has taken his back - oops!
Shatterstone is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
You can see the frustration on Oliver Nippels's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
