Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Finlay Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony O Rangers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster comes to the cage accompanied by The Streets - Blinded by the Lights. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Finlay Foster! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony O Rangers! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Rangers shoots in and drives through. Foster sprawls well. O Rangers connects with a crisp jab. O Rangers ducks under a wild hook from Foster. Tony O Rangers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. O Rangers wants to sweep but no luck. O Rangers is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. O Rangers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Foster slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. O Rangers looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Foster might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Foster controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but O Rangers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Rangers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Foster trying to control but O Rangers is working from the bottom. Foster is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but O Rangers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Foster avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Foster is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Foster looking to sit in guard and control but O Rangers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
O Rangers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Foster manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now O Rangers has Foster in his guard.
O Rangers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. O Rangers keeping full guard, as Foster tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Rangers has an active guard here but Foster has managed to pass into half guard.
O Rangers looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Foster is looking to take a break and control but O Rangers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. O Rangers looking for submissions from an awkward position here. O Rangers tries to get to full guard but Foster has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Foster with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Foster lands with a punch from half guard. Foster is looking to take a break and control but O Rangers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. O Rangers is trying to control but can't.
O Rangers works his way to full guard. Good work. Foster is looking to work some ground and pound but O Rangers has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Foster's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! O Rangers tries to land a sweep but no joy. Foster postures up in O Rangers's guard and throws a big left but O Rangers blocks it. O Rangers looking to control.

O Rangers throws a lazy uppercut
and Foster counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Foster. Foster wants to control from the top but O Rangers keeps moving. O Rangers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Foster defends it easily. Foster distracts O Rangers with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. O Rangers is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Foster with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Foster working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. O Rangers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foster doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Foster manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Foster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Foster stands up over O Rangers, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Foster scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Foster trying to control but O Rangers is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Rangers tries to land a sweep but no joy. O Rangers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Foster is aware though and is defending well. Foster is looking to work some ground and pound but O Rangers has wrist control. O Rangers looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Foster puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. O Rangers looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. O Rangers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. We've been hearing good reports from Foster's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Foster is trying to control the action in half guard but O Rangers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Foster is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because O Rangers is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. O Rangers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for O Rangers. O Rangers is trying to keep Foster in close.

O Rangers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Foster stays in close to O Rangers's body and controls the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. O Rangers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Foster is one step ahead there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Foster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that O Rangers can do to turn this around? O Rangers shoots in looking for a takedown but Foster manages to keep the fight standing, pushing O Rangers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Foster looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Foster is looking to take a break and control but O Rangers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Foster thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. so Foster counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. O Rangers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Foster trying to control but O Rangers is working from the bottom. Foster tries to free his leg and advance position but O Rangers is retaining full guard. O Rangers looking to control.
Foster slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. O Rangers wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Foster is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Foster won't allow O Rangers to sweep him here. O Rangers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. O Rangers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Foster defends well. O Rangers looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

O Rangers throws a series of punches but Foster moves out of range. Foster changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. O Rangers throws an off balance right hand
and Foster counters with a nice double leg into guard. Foster trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Foster stopping the sweep attempt from O Rangers. O Rangers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Foster controlling from the top position. Foster looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Rangers lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Foster is on top in guard.

O Rangers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Foster is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for O Rangers. Finlay Foster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A lull in the action here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! O Rangers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Foster's head backwards. O Rangers misses with a few strikes there.
O Rangers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Foster sees it coming and avoids it easily. O Rangers has a takedown stuffed. Foster moves out of range as O Rangers strikes. Foster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Foster is figuring out what he wants to do next. O Rangers blocking the ground and pound attempt from Foster. Foster is looking to take a break and control but O Rangers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster works his way into full mount! Foster landing shots from mount. O Rangers is trying to escape the mount.
O Rangers taking shots to the head. Foster wants to control the pace but O Rangers is squirming around nicely. O Rangers wants to control but Foster is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Rangers manages to regain half guard. Good work. Foster controlling the action here. Foster wants to lay and pray for a moment but O Rangers keeps working. Foster is thwarting O Rangers's attempts to control the position. Foster working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. O Rangers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for O Rangers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Rangers keeping moving, preventing Foster from controlling successfully. O Rangers is looking for a triangle here but Foster uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
O Rangers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Foster is working O Rangers over with some ground and pound from side control. Foster lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Rangers is trying to get back to half guard. O Rangers gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. O Rangers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Foster passes to side control. Foster wants to lay and pray for a moment but O Rangers keeps working. O Rangers is looking for a sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Foster trying to control the position but O Rangers is working away. Foster just content to control the position. Finlay Foster had his way with Tony O Rangers in that round. The cut man is working on Finlay Foster's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Foster misses with a left hand and O Rangers counters with a left to the body. O Rangers feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fosters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Foster misses with a looping left. Foster misses with a right hand and O Rangers counters with a stiff right hand. O Rangers lands with an uppercut that bounces Foster off the cage and back into range. O Rangers might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A lazy left from O Rangers finds it's target. Foster steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Rangers. Foster throws a body shot but no joy. O Rangers misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Foster keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A looping hook to the body misses from Foster. O Rangers does a little dance to reset his feet. O Rangers thows a left - swing and a miss! Foster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And O Rangers tries to counter it with a takedown but Foster pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract O Rangers. Foster drops his hands momentarily and O Rangers takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Foster throws a poor cross that misses
and O Rangers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. O Rangers rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Foster counters with a nice double leg into side control. O Rangers won't be happy with that. O Rangers is looking to reverse the position. Foster is chipping away with strikes.
O Rangers can't do much from the bottom here. O Rangers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Foster lands some shots froms side control. Tony O Rangers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Rangers is looking to regain half guard here but Foster keeps moving and retains side control. O Rangers is not content to let Foster control the position. O Rangers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Foster passes the guard and advances to mount! Foster working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster cracks O Rangers with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

O Rangers tries to hold on but Foster postures up. O Rangers takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Foster working away from the top, dropping strikes.
O Rangers is rocked! O Rangers is working to get back to half guard.
Foster lands a heavy elbow. O Rangers is still in real trouble! Can Foster finish him? Foster loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have O Rangers scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Foster land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Foster stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 5, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Finlay Foster! Finlay Foster retains his super heavyweight title! Finlay Foster seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Tony O Rangers spoke after the fight, saying 'How the fuck??'.
