Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Lahey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Branden Wooster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooster comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jiu-Jitsu Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Lahey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Branden Wooster! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wooster has his takedown stuffed and Lahey counters with a three punch combo that has Wooster backing up. Wooster nods at Lahey to acknowledge the strikes. Lahey lands a jab to the nose. Wooster fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A swing and a miss from Lahey. Wooster feints the counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooster has his takedown stuffed and Lahey counters with a stiff right hand. Jim Lahey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Branden Wooster. Lahey throws a right hand that Wooster ducks under and follows up with a left that Wooster also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lahey lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Wooster has a takedown stuffed. Jim Lahey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooster swats away the attempt to clinch by Lahey. A jab lands there for Lahey.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lahey slaps away a takedown attempt from Wooster, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lahey misses with an uppercut. Wooster with the counter takedown but Lahey avoids it easily. Lahey throws a poor cross that misses
and Wooster counters with a takedown into side control. Lahey wants to get back to his feet. Wooster works to advance to full mount. Lahey defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lahey stops Wooster from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Lahey really wants to buck Wooster off and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooster looking to control and managing it successfully. Wooster trying to control but Lahey is having none of it. Wooster works his way to his opponent's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooster looking for the choke but no joy. Wooster working for a choke but Lahey is defending well. Lahey prevents Wooster from getting a body triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Branden Wooster will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wooster is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Wooster ducks under a wild hook from Lahey. Wooster dives in for a single leg takedown but Lahey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lahey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wooster decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lahey's guard. Branden Wooster has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooster with a flurry of punches that miss. Lahey wants to stand up but Wooster is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wooster works a leg free and moves into half guard. Wooster trying to pass the guard but Lahey defending well. Wooster is keen to just control but Lahey is a slippery customer. Wooster is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lahey defends it well. Lahey is looking to escape. Wooster passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lahey!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooster wants to take his opponent's back but Lahey doesn't allow it. Wooster looking to secure an arm triangle but Lahey defends it well. Wooster is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Lahey is in real trouble.
Wooster is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lahey defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. We've been informed that Wooster has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wooster working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Lahey is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Wooster has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Lahey taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Branden Wooster! A very excited looking Branden Wooster rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. The defeated Jim Lahey had this to say: 'Jim Lahey for supervisor of the year'.
