The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong lands a jab to the head.
Rat shoots in for a takedown but Kong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rat shoots for a double leg takedown but Kong sprawls well. He's pushed Rat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kong connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rat. Rat circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Abu Rat has been cut.
Kong cracks Rat with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kong has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rat to stand back up!
Rat is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kong cracks Rat with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
