4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Royland Forrester! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tribbiani circles away from the clinch attempt.
Forrester clinches up with Tribbiani and pushes him back against the cage. Forrester is trying to push Tribbiani away but Tribbiani has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Forrester is trying to break free. Forrester wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tribbiani has him pressed against the cage. Forrester blocks a knee to the body. Forrester working for a guillotine from mount but Tribbiani is in no mood to give up. Tribbiani tries to reverse the position but Forrester maintains control. Forrester has control of Tribbiani's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tribbiani regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tribbiani postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Forrester is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tribbiani, into his guard. Tribbiani is looking for a triangle here but Forrester uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tribbiani or perhaps it was just good defense by Forrester, which made it look bad. Forrester throws a series of strikes that have Tribbiani backpedaling.

He's got his arms around Forrester's waist but Forrester gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tribbiani off to one side. Forrester fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tribbiani, pushing him back against the cage. Tribbiani has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Forrester is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Forrester tries to break free but Tribbiani pushes him back against the cage. Tribbiani drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Forrester gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tribbiani drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tribbiani jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tribbiani wants to pass the guard but Forrester is keeping the position. Our spies down at at Cozad The Island inform us that Forrester has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Tribbiani works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Tribbiani drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Forrester dives on top into guard. Tribbiani has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Forrester can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tribbiani is looking for a triangle but Forrester pushes his legs off easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Forrester is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Forrester is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tribbiani has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Forrester is looking to defend but Tribbiani has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Forrester! Tribbiani pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Forrester taps out and this one is all over!
