Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Franky Redz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Sutherland Ill Esq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Franky Redz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dean Sutherland Ill Esq! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redz tries to clinch and Sutherland Ill Esq counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Redz thinking. Redz tries to keep at a distance but Sutherland Ill Esq has taken the fight into the clinch. Sutherland Ill Esq jumps guard but Redz turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Sutherland Ill Esq gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Redz.
Sutherland Ill Esq drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Redz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sutherland Ill Esq tries to pull guard but Redz forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Franky Redz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Sutherland Ill Esq. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Redz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Redz keeping full guard, as Sutherland Ill Esq tries to pass. Redz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Redz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sutherland Ill Esq defends it easily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sutherland Ill Esq accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sutherland Ill Esq is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Redz is trying to control the position but Sutherland Ill Esq postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sutherland Ill Esq working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Redz's head. Sutherland Ill Esq trying to control the position from guard on top but Redz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Redz wants to sweep here but Sutherland Ill Esq controlling him for the moment. Sutherland Ill Esq tries to free his leg and advance position but Redz is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Redz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sutherland Ill Esq manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sutherland Ill Esq forces Redz back against the cage and clinches. Sutherland Ill Esq wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Redz has him pressed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sutherland Ill Esq pulls Redz into guard.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sutherland Ill Esq is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Redz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Franky Redz will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dean Sutherland Ill Esq's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sutherland Ill Esq shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Redz as he jumps to the side. Redz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sutherland Ill Esq sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Redz somewhat. Sutherland Ill Esq moves into the clinch successfully.

Redz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sutherland Ill Esq is controlling him. Redz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sutherland Ill Esq can do to turn this around? Redz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sutherland Ill Esq manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sutherland Ill Esq lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sutherland Ill Esq. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Redz. Redz gets in close and instigates a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutherland Ill Esq stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Redz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sutherland Ill Esq working some strikes from top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Redz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sutherland Ill Esq manages to get himself to full guard.
Redz is working Sutherland Ill Esq over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Redz wants to get up but he can't break Sutherland Ill Esq's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Redz content to stall in guard here. Sutherland Ill Esq wants to sweep here but Redz controlling him for the moment. Sutherland Ill Esq has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Redz has passed into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Redz decides to stand back up. Redz steps back and let's Sutherland Ill Esq get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Franky Redz showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Redz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
