Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamshed Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ove Sundberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamshed Khan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ove Sundberg!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sundberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khan was well out of range. Poor timing from Sundberg.
Khan darts in trying to clinch
and Sundberg counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch but Sundberg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target.
Sundberg dodges the punch combination from Khan.
Khan walks into a stiff left hand from Sundberg.
A telegraphed right hand from Sundberg misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan tries to clinch there but Sundberg circles away.
Sundberg swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Khan misses with an uppercut.
Khan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sundberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Khan.
It seemed like Sundberg was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Khan clobbers Sundberg with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sundberg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Khan throws a body punch but Sundberg moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sundberg. Khan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Khan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sundberg lands a really nice looking cross but Khan seems unphased.
Sundberg lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Khan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Khan misses with a wild body shot.
Sundberg unleashes a big counter combination but Khan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sundberg steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khan.
Sundberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Khan misses the target.
Khan misses with the combination.
Sundberg moves out of range as Khan strikes.
Khan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sundberg takes one on the button.
Nice shot lands for Sundberg.
Khan misses with a shot to the body
and Sundberg counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sundberg throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely.
Khan is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Sundberg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sundberg misses with a series of wild punches.
Khan misses with the combination.
Sundberg now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Good standup being displayed there by Sundberg as he connects with a hook.
Khan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sundberg counters with a right hand to the body.
Sundberg connects with a body shot that sends Khan's belly button to the back.
Sundberg throws a series of strikes that have Khan backpedaling.
Sundberg scores with a jab.
Khan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sundberg scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sundberg feints a jab promting Khan to slip. Sundberg then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Khan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


Khan is rocked!
Sundberg fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sundberg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Khan scrambles back to his feet.
Nice shot lands for Sundberg.
Jamshed Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Sundberg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sundberg cracks Khan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Khan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sundberg pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Khan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ove Sundberg!
Ove Sundberg is the new bantamweight champion!
Ove Sundberg gave a mention to Vikai Gear Island in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
