Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mega Minion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Ennio Morricone- The Good, The Bad and The Ugly as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mega Minion! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Miller! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minion moves out of range of the body kick from Miller.
Miller scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Miller throws out a leg kick but Minion moves out of range and Miller only half commits. Miller tries a low kick but Minion avoids it. Minion feinted there with a counter leg kick. Minion wants to slow Miller down by chopping away at his legs. Minion throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Minion closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miller to the mat! Miller manages to get full guard. Miller pulls Minion in close to his closed guard and prevents Minion from doing any damage or advancing position. Minion gets to his feet. Miller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Minion lands a head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller pivots, looking for a leg kick but Minion is out of range and Miller settles back down. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Miller - that will leave a mark!
Miller lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Mega Minion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Minion tries to score with a low kick but Miller moves his leg out of the way. Minion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miller tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Minion is in Miller's guard.

Minion content to stall in guard here. Miller seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Miller keeping moving, preventing Minion from controlling successfully. Minion stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Miller is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. Minion throws out a loose jab but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Minion doesn't succeed with the takedown and Miller counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Minion is lucky that one didn't land flush. Miller stuffs the takedown. Miller raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Miller plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Minion lets loose with a powerful body kick. Miller will feel that in the morning. Both fighters circling a little - Miller finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Miller looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Miller misses with an uppercut. Minion saw that one coming. Minion throws a half hearted mid kick. Minion backing away here, and Miller unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Minion. Miller wants to control but Minion postures up. Miller is not content to let Minion control the position. Miller is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Miller prevents Minion from improving position. That was a close round but I would say that Mega Minion will probably get the nod. That's time! Minion's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Miller cracks the inside of Minion's front leg. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Miller.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Minion misses with a body punch

Miller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Minion. Miller throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Miller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Minion is out of range. Minion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard. Miller is trying to get back to full guard. Minion trying to pass the guard but Miller defending well. Miller is trying to maintain the position but Minion is very close to passing his half guard. Miller is not content to let Minion control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Minion is really struggling to control Miller but he's trying to hold on to the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller is defending against the submission attempts here by Minion.
Miller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Minion's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Minion's back! Miller is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
You can see the frustration on Minion's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Minion crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miller - the referee stops the clock and Minion gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miller. Minion manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Miller checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Miller feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Minion's calf.

Minion tries to catch it but that hurt him. Miller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Minion is out of range. Miller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Minion.

Minion throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miller thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Minion if he has to take too many more of those.
