Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Part!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jens Kylling!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kylling avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Part lands a front kick.
Kylling blocks a head kick by Part.
Kylling unleashes a big counter combination but Part bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Part shoots and misses
and Kylling counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kylling feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Part's calf.
Kylling jabs Part right on the nose. Part blinks but takes it well.
Part fails with an attempt to clinch.
A big left from Kylling misses.

Part takes the fight into the clinch.
Part is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kylling pulls him back up using the underhooks.
I was talking to Part's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Part manages to break the clinch.
Part takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jens Kylling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kylling lands the left hand.

Part is rocked!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kylling has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kylling lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Part head around and knocks him out cold! Kylling hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Jens Kylling really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fury Nutrition Inc. logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
