Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethelbart Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Freddy Steel has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Freddy Steel seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Steel! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Ethelbart Takahashi! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Freddy Steel has been cut. Takahashi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Takahashi lands with a nice body kick. Takahashi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Steel pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Takahashi is just out of range. Takahashi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steel. A telegraphed right hand from Steel misses the target. Takahashi lands a nice looking body kick. Takahashi cracks the inside of Steel's front leg. Nice cross by Takahashi. Takahashi throws the kick towards the body but Steel avoids it. Steel misses with a low kick. Takahashi checks a low kick from Steel. Takahashi throws out a counter right but Steel avoids it with no problem. A solid leg kick lands there for Takahashi.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Takahashi swings widly with a right hand
and Steel counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel misses with a looping left. Takahashi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Takahashi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Steel blocks the body kick.
Steel throwing a counter right hand but Takahashi manages to avoid it. Takahashi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Takahashi moves out of range as Steel strikes. Takahashi scores with a jab to the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Takahashi. Steel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Takahashi doesn't seem bothered though. Steel swings for the body but Takahashi moves out of range.
Takahashi moves forwards but Steel connects with a nice, crisp jab. Good standup being displayed there by Takahashi as he connects with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steel with a nice cross. Takahashi thuds a left hand into Steel's body. A leg kick checked by Steel. Ethelbart Takahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Takahashi. Takahashi scores with a sloppy right hand. Steel should have avoided that one. Steel connects with an inside leg kick. Takahashi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steel.
Steel throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Steel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Takahashi misses with a low kick.
That kick from Takahashi tenderised Steel's leg. Steel is trying to keep his angry face on. Steel looks to throw the jab but Takahashi is out of range. Steel takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A nice leg kick lands there from Takahashi. A head kick from Takahashi lands but Steel takes it in his stride.
Freddy Steel's cut is getting worse. Takahashi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Nice uppercut there from Takahashi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takahashi lands a big head kick that sends Steel tumbling to the mat! Takahashi takes a step backwards and waves Steel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Freddy Steel's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Takahashi drops Steel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Steel looks back up at him and smiles so Takahashi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Steel is rocked!
Jeez, Freddy Steel's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Freddy Steel's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ethelbart Takahashi! Ethelbart Takahashi is the new heavyweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Ethelbart Takahashi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
