The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrall throws a sloppy head kick and Rozkurwieniec counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ferrall won't be happy with that. Ferrall is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Ferrall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ferrall is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rozkurwieniec is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ferrall has escaped the position, nice work there. Rozkurwieniec thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ferrall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rozkurwieniec gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rozkurwieniec advances to half guard. Rozkurwieniec is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Rozkurwieniec is looking for a kimura but Ferrall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rozkurwieniec to get the leverage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rozkurwieniec is thwarting Ferrall's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pszemek Rozkurwieniec dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rozkurwieniec tries to keep at a distance but Ferrall has taken the fight into the clinch. Ferrall has clasped his hands together around Rozkurwieniec's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Rozkurwieniec manages to get back to half guard. Ferrall missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ferrall slips a nice elbow through Rozkurwieniec's hands, connecting with Rozkurwieniec's forehead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferrall is looking to control the position but Rozkurwieniec frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Ferrall grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Rozkurwieniec there - Ferrall really paying for some sloppy defensive work!
