Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Ellis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Victor Jordan's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Ellis!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan rushes Ellis and presses him up against the cage.
Jordan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ellis swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short body shot lands from Jordan as the two fighters clinch.
Ellis is pushing Jordan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jordan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ellis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jordan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jordan gets back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ellis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

I would just about give that final round to Martin Ellis.
I think Ellis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
