Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitel King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quill Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitel King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Quill Styles! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Styles scores with a jab to the body. King looks for a takedown but Styles sprawls well. King tries to keep at a distance but Styles has taken the fight into the clinch. King drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Styles gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Styles misses with an elbow strike.
Styles breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is looking to clinch but Styles is avoiding it.
Styles throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease. The fight moves into the clinch position. Styles lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. King goes for a takedown attempt but Styles pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitel King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Styles pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Styles scores with a nice head shot. Donk. Styles catches King right on the button with a cross. King goes for a double leg but Styles avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Styles continues to drive forward. Styles misses with a body shot
and King counters with a three punch combo that has Styles backing up. Styles nods at King to acknowledge the strikes. A telegraphed right hand from Styles misses the target. King tries to sprawl but Styles drives through with a takedown into half guard. Styles drops an elbow to the side of King's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Styles looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Styles prevents King from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Styles takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Styles slips a nice elbow through King's hands, connecting with King's forehead. Styles wants to pass the guard but King is defending well. King is looking for a sweep. Styles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. King looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Styles throwing shots but King is blocking nicely. Styles trying to control from half guard but King is working away. Styles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Styles lands strikes from half guard. Styles scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Styles missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Styles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Styles working over King with some ground and pound. King looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. King is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Styles scores with a couple of nice shots. King trying to hold on to Styles's head to control him but Styles postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Styles there. King flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Styles lands with a punch from half guard. Styles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Styles seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Styles not landing any meaningful shots this time. Styles is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. King has his foot on Styles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Styles works his way back into a safe position though. Styles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Styles postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quill Styles dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
King avoids the body shot from Styles.
King keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Styles. Styles shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. King is trying to defend but Styles finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Styles lands with a punch from half guard. Styles scoring with strikes to the body and head. Styles is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Quill Styles has got the better of the ground game so far. King gets full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Styles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as King works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Styles got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Styles has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted. Styles postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Styles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Styles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but King is tightening it up a little... Styles has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Styles reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Styles taps out! Nice BJJ there by King!
