Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Baxter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes to the cage accompanied by Jesus Built My Hotrod. Baxter has chosen Thunder as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, John McClane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddy Baxter! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baxter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McClane counters with a nice uppercut. Baxter ducks under a wild hook from McClane. McClane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Baxter's calf. McClane cracks Baxter with a right hand to the side of the head. McClane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. McClane punishes Baxter's body with a nice straight punch. Baxter works the jab nicely. John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McClane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. McClane looks to land a left hand but Baxter moved out of range nicely. Baxter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McClane throws a big shot that misses. Baxter swings widly with a right hand
and McClane counters with a stiff right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An inside leg kick lands from McClane. McClane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baxter was well out of range. Poor timing from McClane.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClane just misses with a punch to the body.
Baxter swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. McClane looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A good leg kick by McClane. Baxter scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. McClane cracks Baxter with an open hand slap. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McClane!
Baxter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McClane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It seemed like Baxter was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Baxter cracks McClane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like John McClane has been cut. McClane throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. McClane misses the jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McClane scores with a hook to the body. Baxter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Baxter blocks the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baxter looks to score with a jab to the body but McClane is just out of range. McClane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Baxter's head. McClane slips under a jab. McClane jabs at Baxter's body. McClane punishes Baxter's body with a nice straight punch. McClane throws a sloppy body shot
and Baxter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. McClane throws a sloppy head kick and Baxter moves out of range easily. McClane lunges at Baxter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baxter's hand. McClane misses with a wild body shot. Baxter misses with a body shot
and McClane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circling - McClane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Baxter is clearly trying to counter these attacks from McClane with a body shot. McClane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McClane lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. McClane scores with a slapping inside leg kick. McClane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. McClane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Baxter! But no joy. Baxter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McClane.
McClane lands with a shot to the body. McClane misses with a wild combination.
A nice side step and Baxter releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Baxter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McClane was well out of range. Poor timing from Baxter. Baxter staying out of range there. McClane cracks Baxter with a good jab. McClane scores with a body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McClane misses with a lunging right hand
and Baxter counters with a lovely shot to the body. Baxter tries to clinch but McClane moves out of range. Baxter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McClane. This has been an exciting period of action! McClane throws a big shot that misses. McClane is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Baxter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McClane. A nice side step and Baxter releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Baxter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. McClane misses with a wild body shot. Baxter slips under a jab from McClane. McClane lands with a thumping leg kick.
Baxter swings for the body but McClane moves out of range.
McClane throws a big shot that misses. Baxter's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. McClane dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Baxter gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John McClane dominated that round. The cut man is working on John McClane's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Baxter slips under a jab. Baxter now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Baxter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McClane. McClane with a nice cross. McClane moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
McClane misses with the combination.
Baxter looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Baxter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McClane darts in and out, connecting with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McClane throws a shot from downtown. Baxter moves away and avoids it. A solid leg kick lands there for McClane.
McClane fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Baxter on the side of the head. A punch lands to the side of Baxter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClane throws out a loose jab but Baxter uses good head movement to avoid it. Baxter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McClane.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Baxter in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. McClane throws a body shot but no joy. McClane throws a right and a left that Baxter avoids nicely. John McClane is winning the standup battle so far. McClane lands a nice shot to the body.
McClane scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Baxter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McClane. A nice leg kick lands there from McClane. McClane scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Baxter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Baxter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baxter takes a swing at McClane's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baxter's hands.
Baxter is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by McClane! Baxter is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

As John McClane got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Ding a ding a dang a dong dong ding dong! '.
