Kerjalainen has chosen krolithika as his entrance music. Bate has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Tyrone Bate has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bate tries to score with a low kick but Kerjalainen moves his leg out of the way.
Kerjalainen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bate takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kerjalainen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bate's head backwards.
Kerjalainen scores with a jab to the jaw.

Bate gets tackled into the cage by Kerjalainen. Kerjalainen maintains the clinch.
Kerjalainen throws a head punch that misses.
A right hook to the body lands for Kerjalainen.
Kerjalainen tries a body shot but Bate blocks it.
Kerjalainen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bates head.

Bate is rocked!
Kerjalainen misses with some punches.
Oh Bate is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kerjalainen swings wildly with an uppercut but Bate uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bate tries to throw a body punch but Kerjalainen avoids it by throwing Bate back against the cage.
Kerjalainen presses Bate against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Bate seems to have got his legs back now.
Bate is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kerjalainen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bate stalling in the clinch but Kerjalainen improves position.

Bate misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kerjalainen working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Kerjalainen pushes Bate against the cage. Kerjalainen is working some dirty boxing. Kerjalainen pushes off with a quick right hook! Bate goes down! Bate tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kerjalainen moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

In his post fight interview, Keijo Kerjalainen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
