Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Work (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angel Finley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Work!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Work looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Finley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Work's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Work's back!
Work wants to control his opponent's hands but Finley gets his hands free.
Even with his hooks in, Finley manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Work tries to escape the position.
Finley really is a fat lump.
Finley wants to control but Work is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Work trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Finley throwing sloppy strikes.

Work turns into Finley and is now in his guard.
Work pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Finley is keeping the position for now.
Work slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Finley.
Work throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Work working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Finley's thigh. Finley counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Finley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Finley wants to hit a switch here but Work passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Finley there!
Finley is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Work thowing shots but they're missing.
Work unloads with some shots from mount but Finley bucks and avoids them well.

Work can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Finley is looking to escape.

Finley tries to reverse the position but Work maintains control.

Work goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Finley turns into him and now he's in Work's guard.
Finley wants to stand and escape but instead Work has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Work decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Finley checks a leg kick nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Finley misses the target.
Work avoids the head kick by Finley.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Finley blocks the body kick.

Work shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Finley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Work trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley Work dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Work throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Finley was covering up waiting for the punch and Work finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Work wants to control from the top but Finley keeps moving.
Work passes Finley's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Finley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Work is keen to just control but Finley is a slippery customer.
Work has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Work is controlling the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Work is working for a kimura but Finley is defending it quite comfortably.
Finley is refusing to be controlled, as Work sits in half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Finley is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Work thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Finley avoids a punch combination nicely.

Work scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Work postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Finley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Work off and has taken his back!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Finley lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Work hold on?!
Finley not allowing Work to control his hands.

Finley working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Work wants to get back to his feet.
Work trying to control the position but Finley manages to sink in the hooks.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Work wants to get back to his feet.
Work tries to escape but Finley has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Finley is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley Work showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Finley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Work throws a combination that misses

and Finley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Finley.

Work has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Finley regains guard immediately.
Finley trying to strike off his back.
Finley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Work's guard.

Finley wants to control from the top but Work keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Work lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Work wants to control from the top but Finley keeps moving.

Work stands up and waves to Finley to follow him.
Work lunges at Finley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Finley's hand.


It looks like Angel Finley has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Work gets a clinch.

Finley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Work is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Finley to the mat. Finley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Work throws a big elbow that misses.
Work passes Finley's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Well, if Work is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Work throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Work not doing much here.
Let's hope that Work has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Work wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finley keeps working.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Work darts in and clinches Finley up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Finley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Work decides to pull guard.
Finley wants to stand but Work is controlling his posture from full guard.
Finley wants to control from the top but Work keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Work is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bradley Work comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Work has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
