Sykloni has chosen Within Temptation - Whole World Is Watching as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sami Sykloni!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Ring.
A head kick misses from Ring.
Ring throws a nice looking combination but Sykloni bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sykloni swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ring pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sykloni jabs at Ring's body.
Ring throws a head kick that misses.
Sykloni scores with a decent looking hook.
Ring takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ring pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ring takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sykloni lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ring misses with a body kick.
Sykloni turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Sykloni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ring has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sykloni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ring moves away.

Our sources have told us that Ring has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Sykloni misses with a body punch.
Sykloni goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sykloni pushes Ring back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Ring with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ring lands with a right to the head.
Ring throws a knee to the head but misses.
Ring prevents a body shot from Sykloni.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ring accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ring stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sykloni swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sykloni wants to sweep here but Ring controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Ring will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Sami Sykloni's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ring throws a front kick that sends Sykloni stumbling back into the cage.
Jeremy Ring is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ring feints a jab promting Sykloni to slip. Ring then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sykloni slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sykloni, right into the meat.
Ring keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Sykloni cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sykloni avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ring. Sykloni shrugs it off though.

Sykloni blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Look low, kick high! Ring uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sykloni tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Ring is absolutely delighted - when Sykloni wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

A relieved looking Jeremy Ring thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
