Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barca might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carthage. Thunstrom has chosen Prodigy - Spitfire as his entrance music. Lars Thunstrom is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunstrom keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thunstrom lands the left hand.
Thunstrom slips a straight right by Barca.
Thunstrom throws out a loose jab but Barca uses good head movement to avoid it.

Thunstrom takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Barca drops his hands momentarily and Thunstrom takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Barca goes for a double leg but Thunstrom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Thunstrom continues to drive forward.
