Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between To Hak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Urrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urrah has chosen Johnny Cash - Oney as his entrance music. Josef Urrah acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, To Hak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josef Urrah!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hak throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Urrah.
Hak slips a jab from Urrah.
Hak scores with a hook to the body. Urrah takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hak moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hak throws a head kick that misses.
Urrah throws out a counter right but Hak avoids it with no problem.
Hak tried to score with a low kick but Urrah checks it.
Hak throws a big shot that misses.
Urrah appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Good leg kick by Hak there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Urrah lands a leg kick that knocks Hak off balance momentarily.
Hak throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Urrah is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hak with a body shot.
Hak is looking to land body kicks.
Urrah looks for a takedown but Hak sprawls well.
Hak connects with a body shot that sends Urrah's belly button to the back.

Hak drops his hands momentarily and Urrah takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Hak shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hak tried to score with a low kick but Urrah checks it.
Urrah was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Hak misses with a series of wild punches.

Urrah swats away the attempt to clinch by Hak.
Urrah appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Urrah lands a head kick!
Hak chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Good standup being displayed there by Hak as he connects with a hook.
Hak lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Urrah avoids the head kick by Hak.
Urrah tries a head kick but it misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Urrah. Hak shrugs it off though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hak lands a nice hook to Urrah's body. Urrah takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hak misses with a straight left.
Hak connects with the punch.
A nice leg kick lands there from Urrah.
Hak throws a jab when Urrah was well out of range.
Urrah dives in and grabs Hak's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hak pushes down on Urrah's head and hops out.

Hak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Urrah finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Urrah manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hak leaves Urrah with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
To Hak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josef Urrah.
Hak misses with a body kick.
Hak is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hak has closed the distance and engaged Urrah in a clinch.
Come on Urrah - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hak scores with a nice hook to the head.
Urrah prevents a body shot from Hak.

Urrah has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hak throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Urrah.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hak.
Hak is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Urrah is looking to take this one to the mat.
Urrah changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hak fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hak connects with a good right hand that stumbles Urrah. Urrah circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Urrah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hak closes the distance and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A short uppercut from Hak.
Hak has a couple of punches blocked by Urrah.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

To Hak dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Urrah fails with the takedown.
Hak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hak thumps Urrah with a low kick.
Urrah throws a lazy head kick

and Hak holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Urrah is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hak is defending well.
Urrah has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hak avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
To Hak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josef Urrah.
Hak tries to throw a body punch but Urrah avoids it by throwing Hak back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hak.
Hak throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Urrahs head.
Urrah is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hak is defending well for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hak lands an elbow just above Urrah 's eye.
Urrah tries for a takedown but Hak manages to get underhooks.
Urrah is looking to take this one to the mat.

Hak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A lazy body kick from Hak
and Urrah counters with a solid body kick.
Urrah has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hak finds it's way round the side to connect with Urrah's head.
Urrah goes for a double leg but Hak avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hak continues to drive forward.
Urrah fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hak is looking to counter the offense by Urrah and move into the clinch.

Hak closes the distance and clinches.
Hak lands a right hand that snaps the head of Urrah backwards.


Urrah is rocked!
Hak creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Urrah! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Hak.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). To Hak!
A relieved looking To Hak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Josef Urrah spoke after the fight, saying 'Man kan vara vinnare även om man förlorar.'.
