Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masaru Shimabukuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shimabukuro comes to the cage accompanied by Warrior. Nelson has chosen Don't Mean A Thing as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimabukuro throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Nelson might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Shimabukuro has got the better of the exchanges.

Shimabukuro connects with a combination that backs up Nelson into the cage. Shimabukuro lands a flurry of punches that gets past Nelson's guard. Nelson is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Shimabukuro bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
