The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roast has a takedown stuffed.
Plouman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roast.
Plouman with the counter takedown but Roast avoids it easily.
Plouman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roast did well to prevent Plouman getting side control.
Plouman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Roast sees it coming and defends easily.
Plouman prevents Roast from improving his position.
Roast is defending against the submission attempts here by Plouman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plouman is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Roast!
Plouman with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Plouman wants to control the pace but Roast is squirming around nicely.
Roast is trying desperately to improve position.
Roast tries to hold on but Plouman pushes him away.
Plouman thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Plouman wants to finish this one by submission but Roast is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Plouman.
Plouman can't control as he wanted to and Roast manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Plouman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Plouman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Plouman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Roast could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Plouman has cracked it and Roast is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Plouman!
