The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phayattakorn swings for the body but Plouman moves out of range.
Phayattakorn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Plouman as he avoids it easily.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Phayattakorn enables Plouman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Phayattakorn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Plouman wants to pass the guard but Phayattakorn is keeping the position.
Phayattakorn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plouman passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Phayattakorn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Plouman is trying for a kimura here. Phayattakorn looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Plouman wins by kimura!
