Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jim Like A Boss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lenny Hall! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like A Boss throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hall's waist but Hall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Like A Boss off to one side. Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Like A Boss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A nice combination there by Hall.
Like A Boss tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hall swivels and escapes. Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Like A Boss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No luck for Like A Boss with that takedown attempt. Hall swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Like A Boss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hall feints a jab promting Like A Boss to slip. Hall then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Like A Boss slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Like A Boss shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hall throws a nice looking combination but Like A Boss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Like A Boss throws a big counter combination but Hall scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. A looping hook to the body misses from Hall. Like A Boss does a little dance to reset his feet. Like A Boss tries to counter by clinching up but Hall breaks away and moves out of range. Hall misses the shot to the body. Like A Boss half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Like A Boss shoots in for a double leg but Hall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hall throws a combination. Like A Boss tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Like A Boss misses with a head kick.

Lenny Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall gets a clinch. Hall trying to control the position but instead, Like A Boss has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hall into the cage. Like A Boss drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hall gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Like A Boss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Like A Boss throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hall unleashes a big counter combination but Like A Boss bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Like A Boss has a takedown stuffed. Like A Boss is breathing heavily. Hall tries to clinch but Like A Boss is having none of it. Like A Boss is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hall. Hall dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Like A Boss, pushing him back against the cage.

Like A Boss decides to pull guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall preventing the sweep. Hall wants to control from the top but Like A Boss keeps moving. Like A Boss on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Like A Boss tries to get out of the position. Like A Boss looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hall passes into side control.
Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Like A Boss keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall tries to advance to mount but can't. Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Like A Boss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Like A Boss keeps working. Hall working away. The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Like A Boss tries to clinch but Hall moves away and Like A Boss takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Like A Boss with a lazy takedown attempt and Hall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Like A Boss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Like A Boss takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Like A Boss tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Despite the aggression on Hall's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Hall has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall looks to land a combination. Like A Boss sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hall has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Like A Boss seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hall can turn it around. Like A Boss pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hall tries to break free but Like A Boss pushes him back against the cage. Like A Boss is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hall is keeping busy.

Like A Boss is trying to drag Hall to the mat but Hall just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hall lands a body punch in the clinch. Hall wants to get back to striking at distance but Like A Boss won't allow it.

Hall connects with a body shot. Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Like A Boss moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hall ducks under a wild hook from Like A Boss. Hall tries to clinch but Like A Boss is having none of it. Like A Boss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Like A Boss thuds a left hand into Hall's body. Hall closes the distance and pushes Like A Boss back into the cage.

Hall lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Like A Boss or not. Still in the clinch, Hall scores with a nice short uppercut. Hall breaks from the clinch.
Jim Like A Boss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hall moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Like A Boss takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hall is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Like A Boss rather than just go for the knockout. The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hall rushes Like A Boss and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Like A Boss drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Like A Boss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hall, up you get! Hall wants to clinch. Like A Boss shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hall counters with a series of strikes. Like A Boss will be more careful next time no doubt. Like A Boss doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hall lands a nice shot to the body.
Like A Boss misses with a takedown enabling Hall to counter with a crisp jab. Like A Boss has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Lenny Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hall wants to clinch up but Like A Boss keeps it at a distance. Like A Boss has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. Like A Boss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hall tries to clinch up but Like A Boss circles away and keeps his distance. Like A Boss doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hall counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jim Like A Boss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Like A Boss wants to clinch but Hall slips to the side and Hall counters with a stiff right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Lenny Hall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
