Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCallum fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kwiecinski sprawls well initially but McCallum persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

McCallum frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kwiecinski manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Kwiecinski is looking to escape.
Kwiecinski regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from McCallum.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McCallum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCallum is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kwiecinski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've been hearing good reports from Kwiecinski's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

January Kwiecinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike McCallum.
McCallum drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kwiecinski pulls his leg out and moves away.

McCallum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McCallum goes for a double leg but Kwiecinski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kwiecinski continues to drive forward.

Donk. Kwiecinski catches McCallum right on the button with a cross.
McCallum misses with a looping left.
Kwiecinski wants to clinch
and McCallum counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kwiecinski!
Kwiecinski tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McCallum has knee on belly momentarily but Kwiecinski bucks him off and regains half guard.
McCallum not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

McCallum stops Kwiecinski from getting back to his feet.

McCallum tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kwiecinski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

McCallum wants to advance to full mount but Kwiecinski doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that January Kwiecinski will probably get the nod.

McCallum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kwiecinski swivels and escapes.

Kwiecinski looks to score with a jab to the body but McCallum is just out of range.
January Kwiecinski is winning the standup battle so far.
Kwiecinski darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McCallum is rocked!
Kwiecinski clinches up with McCallum and pushes him back against the cage.

Kwiecinski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McCallum. That did some damage!
Kwiecinski connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks McCallum out cold! This one is over in a flash!
