Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorin Ragnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorin Ragnarsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thorin Ragnarsson!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson fails with the takedown
and Jarvis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ragnarsson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jarvis slaps away a takedown attempt from Ragnarsson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jarvis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ragnarsson to the ground. Jarvis is now in Ragnarsson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jarvis tries to score a body lock takedown but Ragnarsson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Ragnarsson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jarvis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ragnarsson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Ragnarsson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jarvis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jarvis's back!

Jarvis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ragnarsson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ragnarsson is trying to hold Jarvis in close to prevent damage but Jarvis has managed to pass into half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Jarvis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jarvis is looking to clinch.
Jarvis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ragnarsson circles away quickly and effectively.
Ragnarsson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Jarvis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ragnarsson.
Ragnarsson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Jarvis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ragnarsson's waist but Ragnarsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jarvis off to one side.

Thorin Ragnarsson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ragnarsson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
