Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Senna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Ohmsford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felipe Senna looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Senna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cole Ohmsford!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohmsford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Senna was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ohmsford.

Ohmsford closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Senna quickly recovers to half guard.
Senna works his way to full guard. Good work.
Ohmsford passes Senna's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ohmsford thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Senna tries to get to full guard but Ohmsford has control of the leg.
Senna is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ohmsford's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ohmsford's back!

Senna is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ohmsford has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Ohmsford manages to reverse the position and now he's in Senna's guard. Nice work there by Ohmsford.

We've been hearing good reports from Senna's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Senna manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ohmsford manages to get himself to full guard.

Ohmsford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Senna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Senna remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Felipe Senna will probably get the nod.

Ohmsford is in a bad position with Senna working for a choke. Ohmsford manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ohmsford wants to get back to his feet but Senna drags him back down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Senna is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ohmsford is just riding it out for now. Senna eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close second round but I would say that Felipe Senna will probably get the nod.

Ohmsford throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Senna counters with a straight right hand.
Ohmsford tries to close the distance and clinch but Senna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ohmsford swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Senna wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ohmsford tries a head kick but it misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Senna misses its target.

Senna throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ohmsford was covering up waiting for the punch and Senna finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Senna is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ohmsford has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ohmsford!

I would just about give that final round to Cole Ohmsford.
