The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malo tries to keep at a distance but James has taken the fight into the clinch.
Malo is trying to break the clinch but James has him pressed against the cage.
Malo has James pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. James manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
James wants the takedown. Malo is fighting it off but James persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Malo's guard against the cage.
James throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Malo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. James doesn't defend quickly enough and Malo has managed to lock this one up! Can James escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Malo on a fantastic submission victory.
