The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eugemia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banner sprawls well. Banner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eugemia gets slowly back to his feet.

It seemed like Banner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Eugemia closes the distance and clinches up with Banner, looking for a takedown. Eugemia pushes Banner against the cage but Banner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
