Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Hallava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julius Hallava has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Hallava!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Locke!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallava displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Locke.
Locke has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hallava.
Locke throws out a leg kick but Hallava moves out of range and Locke only half commits.
Locke fails to land the takedown.
Locke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hallava as he avoids it easily.
Julius Hallava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Locke.
Locke shoots in and drives through. Hallava sprawls well.
Hallava throws a big counter combination but Locke scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Locke looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hallava!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Locke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Locke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Locke lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hallava down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Locke tries for a kimura but Hallava is defending well.
Hallava is trying to buck Locke off.
An elbow from Locke crashes against the mat.
Hallava is trying to get back to his feet.
Locke decides to stand back up. Locke steps back and let's Hallava get back to his feet.
Hallava fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Locke fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hallava defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Locke.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Locke dives in for a single leg takedown but Hallava sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hallava half committed to a counter leg kick.
Hallava connects with a leg kick. Locke looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Locke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hallava defends it nicely.
Locke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hallava counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Ivan Locke has been cut.
Locke throws a head kick that misses.
Hallava lands a big head kick that sends Locke tumbling to the mat! Hallava takes a step backwards and waves Locke back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've been told by Hallava's head coaches at Demon's Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Locke misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Locke closes the distance and clinches up with Hallava, looking for a takedown. Locke pushes Hallava against the cage but Hallava circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hallava throws a series of punches but Locke moves out of range.
Julius Hallava is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Locke shoots and misses
and Hallava counters with a straight that turns Locke's legs to rubber! Hallava pushes forward with more strikes and Locke goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
