PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Teeto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Murdock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murdock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Have A Dream. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teeto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Murdock lands a head shot.
Murdock misses with a takedown attempt - Teeto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Teeto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Murdock shoots in looking for a takedown but Teeto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Murdock's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Murdock seems to be working for a kimura but Teeto defends the submission attempt.

Murdock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Teeto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Murdock.
Murdock wants to take a breather but Teeto is having none of it.
Murdock uses his free foot to push down on Teeto's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Teeto.
Murdock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Murdock goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Teeto is on top in guard.
Murdock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Teeto manages to get himself to full guard.

Murdock drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Teeto manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Murdock has Teeto in his guard.

Teeto lands a good knee to the midsection. Murdock won't want to take too many of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Liam Murdock spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
