Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theros Ironfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Steen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Steen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Theros Ironfist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Steen! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ironfist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Steen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Steen shoots in but no luck this time. Ironfist moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ironfist swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Steen counters with a takedown into side control. Steen trying to control the action but Ironfist is working from the bottom. Steen looking to control but instead Ironfist has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ironfist is trying to stand up here but Steen is controlling him well. Ironfist blocking the ground and pound attempt from Steen. Ironfist is looking to control Steen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ironfist avoid being mounted? Steen trying to control the action but Ironfist is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steen thows a huge punch but Ironfist dodges it nicely.
Ironfist is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ironfist is working hard here to advance position. Ironfist avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Steen.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ironfist throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Steen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ironfist takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ironfist falls off balance throwing a combination
and Steen counters by clinching up. Steen wants a takedown but no success here.
Theros Ironfist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Steen. Steen looks winded! Steen tries for a takedown. No joy.
Steen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ironfist regains guard.
Steen prevents Ironfist from getting back to his feet. Steen won't allow Ironfist to sweep him here. Ironfist has his feet on Steen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Theros Ironfist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steen takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ironfist cracks Steen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Ironfist scores with a one two! Steen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Steen is rocked! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Ironfist has cracked Steen with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Ironfist lands another huge swinging hook and Steen tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Steen, before Ironfist can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Theros Ironfist! An out of breath Theros Ironfist thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
