Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Phayattakorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chael Plouman! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plouman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Plouman wants it to stay on the feet. Plouman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phayattakorn swivels and escapes. Jack Phayattakorn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chael Plouman. Phayattakorn scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Plouman drives through with a takedown into guard. Plouman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Plouman showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Plouman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Plouman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plouman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Plouman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Plouman passes into half guard. Plouman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Plouman is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Phayattakorn is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
