Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Maddox!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Maddox throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
Jones darts in and clinches Maddox up against the cage.
Maddox lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Maddox breaks from the clinch.
Maddox looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jones!
Maddox advances nicely into full mount.
Maddox is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jones defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Maddox.
Maddox looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Jones is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Maddox wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Maddox is keeping the position.
Maddox is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Maddox manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Maddox. No joy for Jones on that attempt.

Maddox prevents Jones from escaping the position.
Jones sneaks out the side door and pushes Maddox away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Maddox leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Maddox will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jones shoots for a takedown but Maddox saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jones tries to clinch but Maddox is having none of it.

We've been informed that Maddox has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Maddox goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.

Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maddox pinned against the cage. Maddox gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As Maddox looks to move away, Jones throws a big counter combo bu Maddox just gets out of the way.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Gray Maddox will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Maddox keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Maddox tries to stall but Jones uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Maddox has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment.

Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Maddox after a bit of a struggle.

Maddox stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Maddox back into the cage.
Jones lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Maddox can't find room to land a body shot as Jones controls the action.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Jones jumps guard.

Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jones has his foot on Maddox's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maddox works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Maddox advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jones is trying to control but can't.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maddox connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
Maddox seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Maddox is looking to clinch.
Greg Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Horrible takedown attempt by Maddox or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones, which made it look bad.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Maddox tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Greg Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gray Maddox.
Maddox feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jones controls Maddox momentarily but Maddox frees himself.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Maddox passes into half guard.

Gray Maddox comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Maddox winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
