Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shoddy Body (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marx Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shoddy Body has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Shoddy Body! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marx Bronson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Body but Body pushes him off and we're back to square one. A jab lands there for Body. Body looks to score with a jab to the body but Bronson is just out of range. Bronson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Body swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronson throws out a leg kick but Body moves out of range and Bronson only half commits. Body was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Body really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Body throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bronson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson takes the fight into the clinch. Bronson misses with a body punch.
Body misses with the head strike.
Bronson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Body trying to control but Bronson is working from the bottom. Body throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Body stands up over Bronson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bronson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Body defends it easily. Bronson keeping moving, preventing Body from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Body accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Body trying to control but Bronson is working from the bottom. Body has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bronson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Body is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bronson pulls down on the head and he's put Body to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Marx Bronson! Marx Bronson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
