Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remy Martine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blade Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remy Martine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blade Jackson! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martine fails to land the takedown. Jackson fails with the takedown and Martine counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson! Martine blocks Jackson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Jackson tries to hold on but Martine postures up. Martine manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jackson to take his back! Good control from Martine. Jackson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Martine wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martine stalling away here and it's allowed Jackson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Martine is fighting to break Jackson's control of his arms but Jackson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jackson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Martine won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet. Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jackson controls Martine momentarily but Martine frees himself. Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Martine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Martine wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Martine stops Jackson from standing up. Martine makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jackson pulls Martine in close to prevent any damage. Jackson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Martine is breathing heavily. Martine missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Martine trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Martine doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jackson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Martine throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Martine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson controlling the position. Martine is trying to get back to half guard. Martine wants to control but Jackson postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martine manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Jackson missing with punches from the bottom.
Martine is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. Martine keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Nice strikes from Martine there. Jackson wants to improve his position but Martine is controlling well.
Martine is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jackson! Martine with good strikes from the mount here! Jackson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Blade Jackson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Martine's guard now. Jackson trying to control but Martine is working from the bottom. Jackson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Martine could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martine swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Martine looks like he's trying to stand up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Martine regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jackson gets to his feet. Martine looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jackson misses with a leg kick and Martine counters with a series of strikes. Jackson will be more careful next time no doubt. Martine wants to clinch and Jackson counters with a takedown into side control. Martine is looking to reverse the position. Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jackson cracks Martine with a big right hand but Martine just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson stands up. Jackson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Remy Martine is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Martine clinches but Jackson breaks the clinch so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Martine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jackson has his takedown stuffed and Martine counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jackson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Martine is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Martine from controlling successfully. Martine stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martine trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Martine missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Martine has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Martine avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Martine trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Martine moves out of range as Jackson throws a body kick.

Blade Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Martine with a poor takedown and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson. Jackson stays in close to Martine's body and controls the position. Let's hope that Jackson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Martine, up you get!

Despite being in the dominant position, Blade Jackson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt and Jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Martine with a lazy takedown attempt and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Martine's guard now. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Martine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Martine throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Martine throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jackson uses it to pass to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Martine wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Martine can't do much from the bottom here. Martine tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it. A control attempt from Martine but he's now mounted!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Martine because Jackson loaded up on that one. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martine working to try and regain half guard.
Jackson wants to control the pace but Martine is squirming around nicely. Jackson is landing with some decent strikes but Martine is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Martine can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson content just to control the position here. Jackson landing shots from mount. Remy Martine has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson lands a nice shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Blade Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
