Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Plouman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Plouman shoots for a double leg takedown but Gonzalez sprawls well. He's pushed Plouman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Felipe Gonzalez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Plouman.
Gonzalez lands with a good body shot.
Plouman checks a leg kick.
Gonzalez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Plouman was well out of range. Poor timing from Gonzalez.
A big right from Gonzalez misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonzalez throws a head kick but Plouman moves out of range.
Gonzalez throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gonzalez misses with an uppercut
and Plouman counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Plouman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gonzalez is looking to reverse the position.
Plouman has an Americana. Gonzalez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Plouman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Plouman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
