Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Guillermo Mcfarland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prathamesh Randhawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randhawa has chosen Reaching For Narudha as his entrance music. Prathamesh Randhawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Guillermo Mcfarland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Prathamesh Randhawa! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Randhawa has his takedown stuffed and Mcfarland counters with a left and a right that stings Randhawa. Mcfarland clinches with his opponent.
Mcfarland ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mcfarland no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Mcfarland keeping full guard, as Randhawa tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfarland looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mcfarland is trying to control the position but Randhawa postures up. Mcfarland looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Randhawa has picked Mcfarland up and slammed him! Mcfarland can't keep hold of the triangle and Randhawa manages to pass to side control! Mcfarland knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Randhawa on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfarland is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Randhawa off and has taken his back! Randhawa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mcfarland is looking to control Randhawa but Randhawa is wriggling around and keeping busy. Randhawa is trying to break free.
Randhawa tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Randhawa is trying desperately to improve position. Mcfarland really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Randhawa takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Mcfarland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mcfarland goes for an armbar but Randhawa turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Randhawa. Mcfarland looking for a guillotine here but Randhawa defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randhawa passes easily into side control. Nice work. Mcfarland tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Randhawa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Randhawa is working to tighten his grip on Mcfarland's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mcfarland has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Randhawa is really squeezing tight and eventually Mcfarland passes out! Randhawa breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Prathamesh Randhawa! A less than humble Prathamesh Randhawa misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
