The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Joe catches Johnson right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Mike Johnson has been cut.
Joe misses the shot to the body.
Joe scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joe's guard.
Joe wants to sweep but no luck.
Johnson gets to his feet. Joe looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Joe throws out a powerful jab.
Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Joe darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Joe has him pressed against the cage.
Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Joe lands a hook that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Joe goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Johnson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Joe lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Johnson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Joe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson pushes down on Joe's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Horrible takedown attempt by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Joe, which made it look bad.

Joe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Joe scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A decent looking cross lands there for Joe.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
Joe catches Johnson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Joe connects with a looping right hand.
Joe stuns Johnson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Joe connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnson 's hands.
Joe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bazooka Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joe lands a big uppercut and Johnson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Johnson looks OK. Joe waves Johnson back to his feet!
Johnson is rocked!
Johnson leaves his chin hanging out and Joe seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Johnson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bazooka Joe!
