The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirahama shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Berns eats them both and turns towards Shirahama to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Berns with a poor takedown
and Shirahama counters with a crisp one two that drops Berns! Shirahama thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Berns to his feet! Berns is in big trouble!
Berns is rocked!
It looks like Mauricio Berns has been cut.
Berns shoots and misses
and Shirahama counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
