Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hector Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speedy Kawakole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawakole lands a right hook to the body.
Kawakole pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Flynn back to the cage. Kawakole follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Hector Flynn has been cut.

Flynn takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Kawakole feints a jab promting Flynn to slip. Kawakole then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Flynn slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kawakole wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Flynn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Flynn is taking a breather. Kawakole says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kawakole drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kawakole jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Flynn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Flynn walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kawakole is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kawakole throws an elbow that misses. Flynn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kawakole's guard. Nice move by Flynn!

Flynn gets to his feet - Kawakole follows without any prompting.

Flynn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Flynn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kawakole looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Flynn has picked Kawakole up and slammed him! Kawakole can't keep hold of the triangle and Flynn manages to pass to side control!

Flynn has control of Kawakole's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kawakole regains control of the situation pretty easily.
