The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roach closes the distance but Swebster moves to the side

so Swebster counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Swebster throws a big elbow that misses.
Swebster landing some decent shots from guard.
Swebster content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Swebster trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Roach is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Swebster distracts Roach with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Roach is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Swebster is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swebster postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Swebster prevents Roach from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Swebster is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Roach is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Swebster won't allow Roach to get back to his feet.
Swebster arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Roach's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

After the fight, Swebsik Swebster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
