Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abder Ramdane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaron Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abder Ramdane! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Rain or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramdane which made him look bad. Rain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rain fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Rain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramdane shoots in looking for a takedown. Rain tries to sprawl out of it but Ramdane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rain shoots and misses and Ramdane counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ramdane is nestled in close to Rain, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ramdane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rain throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Rain tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ramdane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rain taking some punishment here, with Ramdane in his half guard. Ramdane is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ramdane lands a nice short elbow. Ramdane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rain is trying to get back to full guard. Rain flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Rain is looking for a sweep. Ramdane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rain trying to get back to full guard but Ramdane takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rain is breathing heavily. Ramdane lands a big shot there that rocks Rain but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
It looks like Aaron Rain has been cut. Rain tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ramdane cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rain is rocked!
Aaron Rain's cut is getting worse. Rain is working to get back to half guard.
Oh Rain is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ramdane is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Rain goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Ramdane!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Abder Ramdane!
