Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morris Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renano Leranjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Morris Torres has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Morris Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renano Leranjo! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Leranjo. Those never looked like landing. Torres tries to clinch up and Leranjo counters with a shoot takedown. Torres fights it but they end up in guard. Leranjo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Leranjo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Torres will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leranjo tries to free his leg and advance position but Torres is retaining full guard. Leranjo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Leranjo is pushing down on Torres's leg trying to pass to half guard. Torres is fighting to maintain full guard but Leranjo has managed to sneak the leg through. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Leranjo. Leranjo trying to control the pace. Torres wants to control but Leranjo is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Leranjo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Torres looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Leranjo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Leranjo trying to control the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Torres tries to clinch and Leranjo counters with a nice double leg into guard. Leranjo controlling from the top position. Leranjo slips nicely into half guard. Leranjo sitting and controlling from the half guard. Leranjo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leranjo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Ground and pound from Leranjo. Leranjo content to control rather than advance. Let's hope that Leranjo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Torres is looking to improve his position.
Leranjo not doing much here.
Leranjo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Leranjo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renano Leranjo dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Torres wants to clinch but Leranjo slips to the side and Leranjo counters with a shoot takedown. Torres fights it but they end up in guard. Torres really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Leranjo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Leranjo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Leranjo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Leranjo lands a couple of digs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Torres can't keep his opponent in guard - Leranjo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Torres is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leranjo passes to side control. Torres is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Leranjo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Torres is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
