Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Karim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gantulga Ganerdene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdul Karim looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gantulga Ganerdene!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganerdene looks to clinch
and Karim counters with a nice body shot.
Ganerdene gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Karim misses with some punches.
Ganerdene has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Karim avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The referee calls for Ganerdene to work.
Karim stalling in the clinch but Ganerdene improves position.
Karim is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Karim can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Karim is trying to push Ganerdene away but Ganerdene has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ganerdene manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Ganerdene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Karim tries to pull guard but Ganerdene forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Karim tries to pull guard but Ganerdene holds him up against the cage and eventually Karim drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdul Karim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ganerdene drags the fight down to the ground.
Karim wants to control from the top but Ganerdene keeps moving.
Karim stopping the sweep attempt from Ganerdene.
Ganerdene looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Karim puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Ganerdene is trying to control but Karim manages to pass to mount!
Karim quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Karim but it's paid off an Ganerdene is forced to tap! Nice work by Karim.
