Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikki Parlsh!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Proctor. Parlsh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Proctor sets himself, and Parlsh steps forward looking for the clinch! Proctor avoids it this time.

Proctor gets caught napping as Parlsh dives in and scores a takedown. Proctor manages to retain guard.

Proctor has his feet on Parlsh's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Parlsh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Proctor looks to land a right hand but Parlsh moved out of range.
Parlsh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Parlsh moves away from the strike by Proctor.
Proctor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Parlsh.

Proctor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Proctor cracks Parlsh with an open hand slap.
Parlsh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Parlsh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Proctor pinned against the cage. Proctor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A punch lands to the side of Parlsh 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Parlsh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Proctor thuds his right hand into Parlsh's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Parlsh is rocked!
Proctor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parlsh is still on wobbly legs! Can Proctor finish him?
Proctor misses with a hook. Parlsh ducked under it nicely.
Parlsh seems to have recovered his senses.
Proctor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Parlsh darts in looking for a takedown but Proctor gets double underhooks and turns Parlsh into the cage.

As Proctor backs off Parlsh throws a huge counter combo but Proctor manages to avoid it all.

Cai Proctor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Proctor throws a shot from downtown. Parlsh moves away and avoids it.
Cai Proctor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Proctor throws a jab but it's blocked by Parlsh.

Parlsh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Proctor pivots, looking for a leg kick but Parlsh is out of range and Proctor settles back down.
Parlsh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Proctor defends well and Parlsh ends up having to push Proctor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Parlsh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parlsh moves away from the strike by Proctor.
Parlsh throws a half hearted mid kick.
Proctor scores with the left hand. Parlsh knows he should have avoided that one.
The fighters circle momentarily. Proctor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Proctor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Parlshs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Parlsh fails with the takedown.
Parlsh looks winded!
Parlsh has a takedown stuffed.
Parlsh slips under a jab from Proctor.
Parlsh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Parlsh is looking to clinch.
Proctor throwing a counter right hand but Parlsh manages to avoid it.
Proctor scores with a body shot.
Proctor dips to his left and cracks Parlsh with an uppercut!
Parlsh moves out of range of the body kick from Proctor.

Proctor blocks a head kick by Parlsh.
Parlsh closes the distance and clinches up with Proctor, looking for a takedown. Parlsh pushes Proctor against the cage but Proctor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Proctor's corner calls for a 1-2. Proctor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Proctor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Parlsh under the eye.
Parlsh shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheers as Proctor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Parlsh doesn't seem phased though.
Proctor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
BOOM! Proctor lands a beautiful left hook that drops Parlsh. Parlsh tries to recover but Proctor is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Parlsh lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
