Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yokushima Mayagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriano Belvidere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belvidere has chosen Life Was All A Dream as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayagi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Belvidere .

A head kick lands from Belvidere that sends Mayagi to the canvas. Mayagi tries to scramble back to his feet but Belvidere brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Yokushima Mayagi has been cut.
Mayagi tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Belvidere presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Belvidere throws some wild stikes that Mayagi manages to avoid easily.
Mayagi can't escape the position.
Mayagi is working hard here to advance position.
Belvidere looking to finish with strikes here!

Belvidere is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mayagi is surviving well by controlling Belvidere 's body position as best he can.
Belvidere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mayagi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Belvidere manages to capitalize on a mistake by Mayagi to take his back!
Mayagi rolls, trying to escape but Belvidere keeps control of the position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mayagi rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Belvidere wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mayagi keeps working.

Belvidere shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mayagi as he jumps to the side.

and Belvidere holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Belvidere decides to pull guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Belvidere is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mayagi passes Belvidere 's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Mayagi is working for a kimura here but Belvidere manages to reverse the position and he's now in Mayagi's guard.

Mayagi pushes Belvidere off and gets back to his feet.

Belvidere had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mayagi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Belvidere Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mayagi's back instead.
Mayagi tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Belvidere throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mayagi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belvidere 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belvidere 's back!

Belvidere defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mayagi's arms.
Mayagi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Belvidere is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mayagi is trying to stick to Belvidere 's back but Belvidere is turning into Mayagi. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mayagi's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Belvidere .
Mayagi wants to sweep here but Belvidere controlling him for the moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mayagi looking for a triangle here. Belvidere is fighting it but it looks tight! Mayagi pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Belvidere is tapping out - this one is all over!
