PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hetfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Gaylord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hetfield comes to the cage accompanied by Find Ya Wealth. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hetfield keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hetfield shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Gaylord is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hetfield had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hetfield throws a lazy right hand but Gaylord sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gaylord! But no joy.
Gaylord moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hetfield ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gaylord moves away.

Hetfield sends Gaylord crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hetfield is motioning to the referee to let Gaylord up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Gaylord is rocked!

It looks like BJ Gaylord has been cut.
Hetfield lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

After the fight, Johnny Hetfield was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
BJ Gaylord was interviewed post fight and said 'you stroke me hard bitch!'.
