0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pure Boxer! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Clay! Boxer taking a break here but Clay is having none of it and regains half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clay makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! A momentary lapse in concentration from Boxer enables Clay to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boxer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Clay trying to stand up but can't free himself from Boxer's guard. Boxer has an active guard here but Clay has managed to pass into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boxer tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clay is looking for a kimura here.
Clay really is a fat lump. Clay tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Boxer is trying to maintain the position but Clay is very close to passing his half guard. Clay is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boxer wants to get back to full guard but Clay has passed into side control. Clay is trying to get an arm triangle but Boxer is defending well. Clay happy to just control the position for now. Boxer wants to control but Clay postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boxer is trying to work for a sweep but Clay has mounted him! Boxer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Clay controlling the pace for now. Clay is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Boxer has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Boxer is just holding on here. Clay manages to take his back.
Clay has the hooks in. Boxer is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Clay passes his arm under Boxer's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Boxer taps!
