Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Singer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Gable!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saul Singer!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Singer lands a left hand.
A short right from Singer on the inside.
Gable goes for a takedown in the clinch but Singer prevents it.
Singer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gable backwards.


It looks like Sean Gable has been cut.
Gable swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Gable's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Singer is pressed up against the cage. Gable has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Singer down to the mat. Singer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Gable gets tackled into the cage by Singer. Singer maintains the clinch.
Singer pushes Gable back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Gable is struggling to control the position.
Singer lands with a left to the head.

Gable ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gable no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Singer with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gable avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Singer is looking to work some ground and pound but Gable has wrist control.
Singer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gable has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Singer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Singer throws an elbow that misses. Gable uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Singer's guard. Nice move by Gable!

Singer wants to stand up but Gable is controlling him.
We've been hearing that Gable has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Singer is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Gable being controlled here momentarily.
Singer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Singer can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Singer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gable won't allow Singer to sweep him here.
Singer wants to stand and escape but Gable is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gable tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Singer swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Gable. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gable misses with a body kick.
Singer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Singer clinches up with Gable and pushes him back against the cage.
Gable takes a shot to the head.
A right hook to the body lands for Singer.
Gable is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Singer is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Singer scores with a nice hook to the head.


Gable is rocked!
Singer creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gable's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gable drops to his knees and Singer pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saul Singer!
